Please scroll down the page to
see the screen where you choose your bidding system
Choose your
basic bidding system.
- Standard
American strong 1 NT; either a 16-18 point range, or 15-17 point range.
- Standard
weak 1 NT. 12-14 point range
- Terry’s
unique bidding systems that often pinpoint the strength of the hand more
accurately.
The
complexity of the offensive bidding system can be easily increased.
- You
may leave it a standard system as shown in the example below.
- Or you
many increase the complexity. For example, if bidding a strong 1NT, you
can add
- Artificial 2C bid,
- A responder’s point count
(RPC) of your choice
- Inverted minor bids,
- Splinter bids
- Roman keycard,
- Ogust
bids.
- The
response of partner to a strong 1NT can also be made more complex. In this case, a Stayman
bid takes on a new meaning and you add Jacoby transfers, 2NT transfers, Texas transfers,
etc.
The
complexity of the defensive bidding system can be easily increased
- You
may choose the strength of jump two bids (weak or intermediate).
- You
may choose to leave the remainder as standard responses.
- Or you may choose a more complex
defense bidding system. In
this case, it is geared to whether your opponent is bidding a weak or
strong 1NT. It includes
special doubles, Michael’s cue bid, and the unusual no trump,
etc.
